Tara Healy, CMB, is currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer at Cherry Creek Mortgage. She brings over two decades of expertise in originations, operations management, and compliance. Before joining Cherry Creek in 2016, Tara spent 15 years at LenderLive, culminating in her role as Director of Corporate Compliance.
A dedicated advocate for the mortgage banking industry, Tara has held significant leadership roles, including past President of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association (CMLA) Board of Directors. She currently serves as a Board of Governor for the CMLA, Chair of the CMLA Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee (LARAC), and has previously chaired the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) State Legislative and Regulatory Committee.
Tara actively participates in MBA conferences, contributing to the industry's dialogue at events such as the Annual Convention, State and Local Workshop, National Advocacy Conference, and Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference. She also plays a role in MAA's growth in Colorado.
Her commitment to professional development is evident through her attainment of the Certified Mortgage Bankers (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) in 2018. Tara serves as a regular CMB Prep Course Instructor, sharing her knowledge, and is a sought-after speaker at various compliance events, actively contributing to the ongoing progress of the industry.
