Dana Abernathy, CMB

MBA's Tennessee Ambassador

Dana is a sales executive with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and banking industries. She currently serves as Senior Vice President, Enterprise for Computershare Loan Services. She is responsible for broadening Computershare's customer base across the country. Dana's passion for learning led her to achieve the mortgage industry's highest designation, the Master Certified Mortgage Banker^® (CMB^®).  She served as secretary of the Mortgage Bankers Association's (MBA's) CMB Society in 2014 and as chairman in 2015. 

Dana has been very involved on a national level supporting grassroots lobbying efforts of the MBA.  She serves has served on the MBA Mortgage Action Alliance (MAA) Board of Directors. Dana has regularly participated in the National Advocacy Conference for the past 13 years and is passionate about having all mortgage bankers' voices heard by legislators. In 2018, Dana co-created the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Future Leaders Academy, in 2019, she was named Affiliate of the Year for TN MBA. Dana graduated from the MBA's School of Mortgage Banking, MBA Future Leaders and the Virginia Mortgage Lenders School of Mortgage Banking. She continues to be a member of several industry trade groups, including the MBA's CMB Society.
