The benchmarking process involves the development of internal requirements which serve as standards, as well as testing for compliance with those standards.

Internal CMF Benchmarking Requirements looks at some of the critical factors that influence the setting of internal standards. The course begins with a look at two types of contracts - the loan documents and servicing agreements - and examines how these documents impact servicing procedures. Next, the course looks at ways in which the servicer's internal policies and procedures address the requirements of the loan documents and servicing agreements. The end of the course explores corporate standards, the types of processes that are typically standardized at the corporate level, and contractual conflicts that may arise.

This is a commercial/multifamily course.
