    Catherine Alexander, AVP and Head of Mortgages and Real Estate, Unum

    Catherine Alexander is AVP and Head of Mortgages and Real Estate at Unum. She is responsible for origination, portfolio management and servicing of Unum's commercial mortgage debt and real estate equity investments. Catherine currently serves on Unum's Private Asset Committee and is Co-Chair of Unum's Investments and Finance Inclusion and Diversity Business Network. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Life Mortgage and Real Estate Officers Council. Prior to joining the Investments Department, Catherine served as an attorney in Unum's Law Department supporting Real Estate, Investments and Reinsurance and spent 15 years in private practice. 

    Stefanie Stewart, Senior Vice President, Voya Investment Management

    Stefanie Stewart is head of the West Coast Region of real estate finance at Voya Investment Management.  Stefanie has been with Voya for 16 years and currently leads a team responsible for producing approximately $2B of commercial mortgages annually across multiple states.  Prior to leading a team, she was a top producer among various territories in the region originating all products across Voya’s lending platform including construction/perm, bridge/value-add, CMBS and fixed rate core debt.  Stefanie received a BS in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University.

    Jennifer Jaclin, Vice President and Portfolio Manager, MetLife Investment Management

    Jennifer Jaclin is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager in MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM’s) Real Estate Debt Strategies Group. Jen also serves as a voting member of the Investment Committee, Head of Commercial Mortgage Loan Allocations and leads the Environmental, Social & Governance efforts for MIM’s commercial mortgage platform. She joined MetLife in 2009 and is responsible for allocating loans among MIM’s various sources of capital, actively managing and approving new commercial mortgage loan originations to meet MIM’s investment performance objectives and spearheading processes and communication on ESG issues in the debt platform. Prior to joining MetLife, Jen worked at Citigroup as a Credit Sector Specialist and at Swanke Hayden Connell Architects.  She has a BA in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business. Jen is a member of the Women’s Bond Club, a professional organization focused on women in finance.

    Lara Osterhaus, Global Head of Debt, Aegon USA Realty Advisors, LLC

    Lara Osterhaus is global head of debt responsible for the US-based real assets debt platform, including Commercial Mortgage Loan (CML) Origination, Agricultural Lending, Mortgage Loan Servicing, Special Servicing, Valuation, and Environmental and Engineering groups. Previously, she was responsible for oversight of the origination and management of loans within the US, and the origination of loans in various Midwestern and Southern states. Prior to joining the CML Production group, Lara worked in the Special Servicing group where she was responsible for the successful resolution and disposition of troubled CMLs. Lara has been in the industry since 1995 and started with Aegon Real Assets US in 1995. She received her BA in finance from the University of Northern Iowa.
